$1 million in tax refunds mailed out Friday

DRT expects to mail out tax refund checks on a weekly basis in increments of $1 million to meet the mid-October deadline.

Guam – If you are expecting a tax refund there is good news as 1 million dollars in tax refunds are expected to be mailed out today.

Department of Revenue and Taxation Deputy Director Marie Benito says that the 288 tax refund checks are being mailed out today. The tax refund checks cover Status “A” error free taxes filed up until February 10.

The Department of Revenue and Taxation anticipates mailing out at least one-million dollars in tax refunds weekly to meet the mid-October deadline. For those that filed late, Benito says that tax refunds will be mailed out within 6 months from the filing date.
