1 new COVID case in the CNMI; total now 290 since March 2020


One additional individual has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. This brings the CNMI total to 290 cases since March 28, 2020.

The individual was identified by travel screening and confirmed through testing on arrival on Oct. 22, 2021.

The individual has been quarantined and is actively monitored.

The CHCC Communicable Disease Investigation/Inspection team has initiated contact tracing for the most immediate contacts of the new confirmed case.

Currently, there is no active hospitalization.
