According to the Guam Visitor’s Bureau, over 100 applicants were approved for the Guam Safe Travels Stamp Program.

GVB in collaboration with the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association has announced that an additional 69 businesses have been approved for the Safe Travel Stamp Program and that the new total for approved applications is now 104.

The program, according to GVB, was created by the World Travel and Tourism Council as the world’s first-ever global safety and hygiene stamp.

This allows travelers to recognize destinations around the world that have adopted health and hygiene protocols that are aligned with the WTTC’s global standards. The initiative is accepted worldwide and instills a level of confidence in both tourism trade and international visitors.
