Friday, the Department of Revenue & Taxation processed approximately 3,396 Tax Year 2021 and prior. The Department of Administration mailed checks or paid by direct deposit, accordingly, totaling ten million fifty-nine thousand one-hundred eighty-eight dollars and twenty-three cents in income tax refunds, according to the Office of the Governor.
These represent payment of error-free returns filed on or before February 18, 2022.
The OOG reminds individuals receiving payment by direct deposit will see a $0 transaction in their bank account prior to receiving their refunds.
