Guam – According to the Governor’s Office, $13 million in tax refund checks were mailed out today. The tax refunds cover all status A (error-free) returns filed up to February 4th. The administration says this batch of tax refund checks will go out to 3,759 families.
As a result of this Senator Michael San Nicolas has stated on social media, “For Mr. Ed Birn to be confirmed for the job of DOA director we required he deposit $25 million for tax refunds. He deposited $33 million and has exceeded expectations. We shall come to honor our commitment and move forward his nomination for confirmation this session. We look forward to Mr. Birn continuing to prioritize as he has so demonstrated and encourage that he continues to exceed expectations.”
