The Guam Department of Labor will be disbursing $14.3 million in the latest unemployment batch payout.
This latest batch was sent back to the vendor yesterday (Tuesday) to be re-batched, as they had apparently batched dates that were not cleaned and vetted by GDOL, according to Director, David Dell’Isola.
He says that’s since been resolved.
The $14.3 million covers $11.5 million in direct deposits, $1.6 million in paper checks and $1.2 for taxes.
Dell’Isola says they have so far paid out around $405 million in unemployment benefits to affected Island residents.
