
The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 309 individuals for COVID-19 on Thursday, June 25, and 14 people were found to be positive.
One additional case was found to be positive at the Department of Corrections.
Results include 256 samples from COVID-19 drive-through testing held at the Agana Heights Mayor’s Office and gymnasium on Wednesday.
Over 500 specimens were collected at today’s COVID-19 drive-through testing in Yona and will be tested on Friday.
To date, there have been a total of 245 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 5 deaths, 174 released from isolation, and 66 active cases. Of those cases, 203 are classified as civilians, and 42 are military service members.
COVID-19 test results are reported from multiple labs at varying times of the day. The cumulative total from all labs will be reported on a nightly basis, unless unavailable. The following breakdown provides cumulative COVID-19 test results for Thursday, June 25, 2020:

DOC Employee Tests Positive
On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, an employee of the Department of Corrections (DOC) did not report for duty because of potential illness. On Thursday, June 25, 2020, this employee went to a clinic and tested positive for COVID-19.
DPHSS is aware of the confirmed case and has launched its contact investigation. DOC remains committed to the safety of all staff and prisoners and will continue to work with DPHSS to take every precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within prison facilities.
In accordance with reporting protocols with private clinics, this case will be reflected in Guam’s overall case count on Friday.
COVID-19 Testing Available Tuesday in Mangilao
DPHSS, in collaboration with the Government of Guam, the Mayors’ Council of Guam, private, and federal agencies, is offering drive-through and walk-in COVID-19 testing on Tuesday, June 30.
Testing is free and open to the public while supplies last. No symptoms are needed to qualify for testing. Please bring an I.D., if one is available.
