After many months of hard work, Technical Sergeant Misty Palomo successfully completed four customs enforcement training courses last month.
Palomo is with the Guam Air National Guard’s 254th Security Forces Squadron.
On January 3rd she completed three courses – Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Enforcement and Removal Operations; and the Basic Immigration Enforcement Training Program.
Then on January 6th she completed the Spanish Course.
Palomo was also certified as an “Expert Marksman” in weapons qualification training.
The training was conducted at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick Georgia.
Tech. Sgt. Palomo was also recognized as the 254-SFS Nominee for Non-commissioned Officer of the Year during the Guam Air National Guard’s 2019 Outstanding Airman of the Year Banquet on Saturday, February 1.
