176 students from High Schools all over the Island celebrated their Summer Rainbow Graduation.
PNC’s Khyomara Santana has more on the story…
The ceremony took place at the Okkodo High School’s Gymnasium with an attendance of 176 students from 7 different high schools on Guam.
The graduates are living proof that it is never too late to finish your education regardless of the difficulties.
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero said, “Each rainbow graduation is something very special not only is it our only commencement ceremony with the great diversity of our public high schools of Guam, it is a true celebration of resilience”
The governor thanked the students for their hard work and dedication towards creating a better life for themselves along with recognizing GDOE for taking Guam students on the path to success.
