19 candidates complete GCC Practical Nursing Program

Guam – Nineteen students attended the pinning ceremony for the Guam Community College Practical Nursing Program.

The candidates completed their year-long program at GCC and were urged to study for and pass the National Council Licensure Examination.

“Our nursing program has equipped you with the essential knowledge and skills you need to meet the basic standards of quality care for patients in a medical facility,” said GCC President Dr. Mary Okada to the future nurses.

Rose Grino, a registered nurse and President of the Guam Nurses Association, gave the keynote address.
