2 arrested for illegal fishing, including son of senator

The Department of Agriculture (DOAG) Conservation Officers along with Civilian Volunteer Conservation Officer Reservists have made two arrests in the Dandan, Malojloj area.

The team, on night enforcement in the Dandan, Malojloj area, observed a spotlighting activity. Conservation Officers noticed the vehicle exiting a trail and effectuated a stop on the vehicle.

Two male adult individuals were arrested:

Mr. Vincent A. Flores, Age 38, Inarajan, Malojloj, and Joshua K. Terlaje, Age 36, Inarajan, Malojloj, for the following violations: Protection of Wild Animals; Use of Artificial Light Prohibited; Illegal Possession of a Firearm, and No Firearm Identification.

Mr. Vincent Flores was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Joshua is the son of Senator Jose “Pedo” Terlaje. The senator sent the following statement to PNC: “My son Joshua and another individual were arrested this weekend by the Department of Agriculture’s conservation officers while hunting. I do not condone their actions and as with any adult, they must take responsibility for the consequences of those actions. No one is above the law.”
