Guam – Two clients have escpaed from the Department of Youth Affairs.
According to a news release from DYA at 12:25am this morning two male clients, both minors, escaped from DYA’s Youth Correctional Facility in Mangilao. One is described as a 17 year old Chamorro-Caucausian standing 5’11” tall and weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes black hair and a light brown complexion. The other client is described as a 16 year old Chamorro male standing 5’6″ tall weighing 125 pounds with brown eyes brown hair and a brown complexion. According to the release residents in the area saw the clients climbing the fence. Those residents then contacted GPD and GPD then contacted the supervisor on duty who conducted a head count and found that the minors were missing. Officers found a metal pipe and a broken window in their cell. The minors are not considered dangerous or violent they were in DYA for theft of a motor vehicle.
