Guam – 2 people were in stable condition this morning at Guam Memorial Hospital after the red pickup they were in spun out of control at the base of the rain slicked Route 4 Hill in Hagatna and slammed into a concrete power pole.
GMH Nursing Supervisor Sally Quichocho says the pair are being evaluated, but “they are stable.”
It happened at the base of the Route 4 hill coming down into Hagatna from Sinajana, across from the Mobil station. The pickup was heading down the hill into Hagatna at the time of the accident which occurred about 6:30 am
The left, driver’s side of the pickup, was bent around the pole. The roadway was slick with rain at the time.
The area has been the scene of a number of traffic accidents in recent years.
