Port Authority of Guam General Manager Rory J. Respicio has been notified that two more employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

Both employees are fully vaccinated.

The first employee tested positive this past weekend. The Port’s Contact Tracing Team identified one other employee who was exposed. That employee has since tested negative for COVID-19.

Last night, the general manager was notified that another employee has tested positive. The Port’s contact tracing team has identified 19 close contacts connected with last night’s case. The Port is scheduling COVID-19 tests for all 19 exposures.

“We are consistently deep cleaning and sanitizing our facilities and are doing everything we can to keep our employees and our tenants safe,” Respicio said. “We are keeping our employees who are sick in our thoughts and prayers and we wish them a speedy recovery.”

As of today, 336 (95%) Port employees are fully vaccinated, 5 (2%) have received the first dose of the vaccine, and 11 (3%) employees are still not vaccinated.
