The two mariners were sighted surrounded by debris by a Guam Army National Guard helicopter and were later rescued.
Federal and local responders are still looking for the third missing mariner by air and sea.
The two rescued sailors reported the third person was alive and with them, but got separated during the night.
The three mariners departed Guam heading to Rota on a 42-foot vessel yesterday, until responders received a mayday call at 7:30 p.m. saying that the vessel was sinking, but communications were lost while gathering information.
