2 Women Arrested After Gun Discharged From Vehicle in Inarajan Saturday


Guam – Guam Police have arrested 2 women following an incident in Inarajan Saturday during which a handgun was discharged from a moving vehicle . No one was injured.

Acting GPD Spokesman Lt. Art Paulino reports that at 7:15pm, officers from the Agat precinct responded to a report of shots being fired outside Mae’s Retail Store in Inarajan.

After interviewing witnesses, the Officers located the suspect vehicle, a grey 2011 Toyota 4 Runner which was parked by the Merizo Pier.

3 women were inside the 4-Runner, and when police searched it they found a .38 caliber bullet. Underneath an nearby vehicle, Police found the firearm that was allegedly used in the shooting. Lt. Paulino said the weapon was a black Lorcin 380 Semi Automatic pistol.

2 of the 3 woman in the 4-Runner were arrested.

They have been identified as:

1. 25 year old Kahealana Leipua Santos of Yona

2.  23 year old Ashley Mae Cruz Balajadia also of Yona.

Santos was charged for Reckless Conduct & Possession of a Firearm Without a Firearm’s Identification Card. Balajadia was arrested for Guilt Established by Complicity, Hindering Apprehension and Criminal Facilitation.

Both were Booked & Confined.

The third person in the 4-Runner was not charged.

The case remains under investigation by GPD’s Criminal Investigation Division.
