Guam- Six teams were slated for showdowns in last night’s playoff games in the losers’ bracket of the Golden Hoops Classic Fall 2010 Tournament presented by Aloha Maid and Bank of Guam at Tamuning gym.
Inarajan Hawks eliminated Team ExpendaBulls 71-43 in the 20-plus Competitive Division. The Hawks were way too much for the Expendabulls to handle. Shots came from long range which helped to build a very comfortable lead that the Expendabulls could not overcome.
What made the Hawks comfortable about making those outside shots was the fact that they completely controlled the paint on offense. Shots that were off the mark were more often than not, put back up for a deuce. The Hawks play the loser of Friday night’s Typhoons-Team Justice game.
