Guam- The Harvest Christian Academy Eagles defeated the St. John’s Knights in straight sets with the second set ending in extra points. The first set was a close battle up until the final points. Towards the end of the set the Eagles defense were recording more digs per kill than the Knights with the Knights committing more crucial errors than Harvest and the Eagles took the set 25-18. The second set was more exciting with the Knights reducing their errors while finding a small break in the Eagles defense. But it was the Eagles that held off in the end and managed to take the match in extra points 27-25.
But the possibilty of defending champs making it to the playoffs is questionable. PNC Sports has confirmed with IIAAG President Marty Beudreau that Harvest did forfeit some of their matches but he would not specify the reason for the forfeitures or how many games were forfeited. PNC Sports left a message at the school but there was no response as of news time.
