Guam- The George Washington Geckos and the Okkodo Bulldogs ended their match tied at nil in the IIAAG High School Girl’s Soccer League. According to Bulldogs coach Rick Tyquiengco and some of the players this is better than losing. The Bulldogs have yet to win a game and this match is a step in the right direction. the Bulldogs now improve to 0-4-1 and, so far, have only scored one goal this season.
The Geckos on the other hand could not capitalize on scoring opportunities and Bulldogs Chyna Ramirez did a great job at keeping the rock out of the net. The Geckos record is now 2-1-2 and will challenge the Simon Sanchez Sharks next. The Sharks are the only team to beat the defending Notre Dame Royals this season. The Royals hold the top spot with a record of 4-1-0.
