Guam- Angelica Perez, Kristin Thompson, Simmie Willter and Tayler Kukes all scored twice to lead the Orange Crushers to a 9-2 win over Subaru STI yesterday on the opening day the 2011 Bud Light Women’s Futsal League.
Unfazed by the one-week delay to the season, the defending champions Crushers also got a goal from Brandi Potter to complete the rout.
Hyundai, fresh from their 11-a-side title last month, defeated dck Masters 11-3 behind five goals from Arisa Recella. Ashley Besagar added a hat trick and Jannel Banks added two more goals. Jaime Faye scored all three of the Masters’ goals.
Pretzelmaker Bombers slipped by Guahan.com 4-3 in the late game while Quality Distributors and Lady Strykers will play another day after being rescheduled. Guam Shipyard had a bye.
The league resumes Sunday at the Guam Sports Complex with the following match-ups:
