Guam – Orange Crushers 6-5 Quality Distributors: Behind or level the whole match, Crushers (2-1) nudged ahead in the final minutes thanks to a goal from Kristin Thompson, her second of the match. Simmie Willter and Anjelica Perez also bagged two goals each in the win. Quality (1-1) saw all five goals scored by Paige Surber, tying Hyundai’s Arisa Recella’s mark for most goals scored in a match by a single player that was set in Week 1.
Hyundai 10-2 Subaru STI: Jannel Banks scored four times as Hyundai (3-0) remain the only unbeaten team in the league. Tiana Piper and Tanya Blas-Cruz each added a brace while Recella and Ashley Besagar contributed one each. Kim Sherman and Jennifer Shen scored for Subaru (0-2).
GuamShipyard 6-2 Guahan.com: Despite playing the first six minutes with three players, Shipyard (1-1) were able to hold off their opponents until reinforcements arrived. Alyssa Benito and Shaniece Roberto bagged a brace each while Valerie Flores and Jaimee Soriano added one apiece. Shayna Guerrero scored both goals for Guahan (0-3).
Dck Masters 5-3 Pretzelmaker Bombers: Jaimee Fahy scored four goals for Masters (2-1) and also became the league’s leading scorer with 10 tallies so far this season. Goalkeeper Cara Walsh’s goal clearance slipped through the fingers of her Bombers counterpart and into the goal for the other score. Julie Mages, Jennifer Popovich and Michele Davis scored for the Bombers (1-2).
The league resumes Sunday at the Guam Sports Complex with the following match-ups:
