Hyundai, Bombers Remain Unbeaten In Women’s Futsal

Guam – Hyundai 7-1 Lady Strykers: Jannel Banks netted a hat trick to lead Hyundai (2-0). Teammate Arisa Recella added a brace to take her league-leading total to seven goals while Tanya Blas-Cruz and Tiana Piper each added a goal in the win. The Strykers (0-1) will have an extra week to think things over and rebound after their bye next week.

Quality Distributors 7-0 Guahan.com: Paige Surber opened her season account with four goals while Shaneika Lai added a brace for the victory. Estelle Alig added the other goal for Quality (1-0). Guahan drops to 0-2.

Dck Masters 5-2 Orange Crushers: After their loss to Hyundai last week, Masters (1-1) came out in force and scored four goals, including a hat trick by Jaime Fahy, in the first half against the defending champions. The Crushers (1-1) switched up their tactics in the second half, but could not come back from the deficit. Rhoda Bamba and Kyung Shipman added the other goals for Masters while Kristin Thompson and Simie Willter scored for Crushers.

Pretzelmaker Bombers 5-2 Guam Shipyard: Melanie Strudhoff notched four goals for the Bombers (1-1), an own goal competing the score. Valerie Flores and Alyssa Benito scored for Shipyard (0-1), who played with just four players.

The league resumes Sunday at the Guam Sports Complex with the following match-ups:
