A’s Move On To AK, Braves Seed Third

Guam – Roke Alcantara Jr. popped a shot right over the short who makes a valiant effort but can’t come up with the ball that’s an RBI single for Alcantara.
With the bases loaded Tony Yatar decides to pay a visit to the mound and rightfully so, cause this could turn into trouble.

But the next run comes in off an error.  Third base can’t handle the high throw and that brings in a run.  Derwin Aguon steps up to the plate next and hits a sac fly to center that brings the third run for the inning to put the A’s up 5-0 after two complete innings and enough cushion to keep the Braves trailing throughout the game.

The A’s defeated the Braves 7-4 and send the Braves to the third seed.  Roke Alcantara Jr. was 3-5 with 2 runs and a ribi.  Derwin Aguon finished 1-2 wth 2 RBIs and Calvin Naputi was 1-3 with 2 RBIs.  Freddy Cepeda got the win with 2 strikeouts.  Glen Fernandez, jaythen Barnes and Tony Doyle all drove in runs for the

Braves and Alan benavente got the loss on the mound.

The A’s now move on to challenge the AK Islanders on Sunday.  The winner of that game gets the first seed and the loser gets the second seed and will challenge the Braves in the playoffs.
