Guam – Mark Paulino and the 76 Bank Pacific Cougars held down a feisty Paradise Fitness Junior Nationals team in a Budweiser Baseball League game that featured both teams getting a five run inning.
Paulino was a triple away from completing a cycle last night and was the big stick in the bottom of the fourth where he smacked a three RBI homer to put the Cougars up 6-2.
The Nats five run inning came in the top of the eighth. The Nats were down 9-3 when they got 5 runs off of 4 hits to make it a one run ballgame with an inning to go.
But it would be the Cougars who score a run and take the ballgame 10-8.
