Guam – The sticks came alive for the Agana Heights Docomo Reds in last night’s game against Team Belau.
Belau combined for 7 errors in the first two innings and helped the Reds muster up an 11-0 lead. The reds got six runs off 2 hits and 4 errors in the first and 5 runs off three hits and 3 errors in the second that included a run homer by JR Hattig.
At the end of three and a half innings, the Reds were already up 12-0.
In the bottom of third is when Belau got on the board with one run and in the fifth they would get in two more runs. But the damage was already done.
The Agana Heights Docomo Reds get their first win of the season with the 17-3 victory over Team Belau. The Reds improve to 1-2 while Belau falls to 0-3.
Tommy Morrison got the win with 4 strikeouts and reliever Angelo Taijeron got 4Ks as well. Brad Cook went 2-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs, JR Hattig was 3-4,4R,3RBIs and a two run Homer, Barry Nauta was 2-5 with a run and a ribi and Mike Peredo was 2-4 with a run and a ribi.
Hamilton Jackson was given the loss with one strikeout. Cameron takeo was 1-3 with 2 runs and Horton Wilson hit a sac fly for an RBI.
