Guam – The Pretzel Maker Bombers pestered the crushers goalie all night long with a constant barrage of shots on goal.
The Crushers never let up but great passing put Bombers players past the defense and in clear view of the goal.
Nellie Boyer got two of the five goals for the much improved Bombers. Ashley Fingal was the first to score in the fifth minute and about 25 minutes later teammat Denai Bowers booted one of her own.
Boyer got her two goals in the second half of play and Melanie Studthoff capped off the Bombers scoring late in the match. crushers Kristen Thompson was the lone scorer for the Orange.
The Bombers are now 3-2 with the 5-2 victory over the Crushers while the Crushers drop to 1-1-2. The GFA Bud Light Women’s Soccer league continues with three matches this Sunday at the GFA fields in Harmon.
