Guam – The Golden Hoops Classic (GHC) 2011 Spring Tournament presented by Aloha Maid and Bank of Guam held completed their third week of games Sunday at Tamuning Gym.
Express Signs Club Joel Balbastro was named the Bank of Guam Player of the Day in the 40 plus competitive division in a win against Team Justice 53-40 scoring a game high 22 points.

20 plus competitive division
Tamuning Typhoons 52, Inarajan Hawks 46. Michael Johnson led the Typhoons in scoring with four straight three’s followed by Tony Thacker, Edgardo Baza and Allan Chang with 10 point a piece. Hawks Argon Duenas had eight points in the loss.
DLX All Stars 52, Andersen Defenders 38. DLX All Stars DeAndre Walker had nine points while Andersen’s Durante Gordan scored 11 points.
Team Justice 64, ST Corp Club 55. Justice Roque Charfauros had a game high 13 points and ST Corp Mike Bork and Chris Blas scored 12 point a piece.
30 plus competitive division
Tamuning Typhoons 60, GFD Club 48. Typhoons Allan Chang had 22 points followed by Darrick Bollinger with 15 points. GFD’s Matt Quinata scored 21 points and Jude Pinaula had 13 points in the loss.
Inarajan Hawks 54, SGS Construction 51. Hawks Joe Steven Duenas had a game high 31 points while SGS Franklin “Jun” Navarro and Elou Antenorcruz scored 19 points and 16 points respectively.
40 plus competitive division
Express Signs Club 53, Team Justice 40. Express Signs Joel Balbastro scored 22 points and Justice Robert Torres had 12 points.
GFD Club 49, Inarajan Hawks 41. GFD’s Benny Cruz led with 14 points and Hawks Father Hector Canon scored 10 points in the loss.
Tamuning Typhoons 60, Ada’s Trust Club 48. Typhoons Joe Teodosio and Danny Payumo scored in double digits with 14 points and 13 points respectively. Ada’s Boyet Valerio and Joey Munoz contributed 11 and 10 points each.
