Guam – The Miller football league started in 1991 by avid football fan Edward M. Calvo and the league returned last year after a five year hiatus.
We had a chance to visit the Cars Plus Rams practice to see how the team was preparing for the coming season. Head Coach Leonard Calvo is optimistic considering the small number of players showing up for practice but he mentioned that that’s usually the case. He expects more players to show up in the coming days and expects to do well this season with almost the same team expected to return.
Calvo mentioned that they will concentrate on protecting their passer better this time around and try and open up their running game.
The League has not yet announced when the first kick off will be.
