Guam – The conference room at adelup was packed with guam firemen this morning for the signing of a proclamation declaring fire service recognition week.
Fire Service Recognition Week is a time when firefighters are recognized for their courageous efforts to rescue us from harm and keep us safe.
Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio signed the proclamation which was read by Acting Guam Fire Chief John Wusstig.
Fire Service Recognition Week brings awareness about the quality of people in the public fire service, their commitment to high ethical standards, and the value of the services they perform.
