2016 Guam Businesswoman of the Year Nominees Announced

The 2016 Businesswoman of the Year will be announced at the Businesswoman of the Year gala on Saturday, April 30th at the Hyatt Regency Guam.

Guam – The First Hawaiian Bank and the Guam Business Magazine announced the 2016 Business Woman of the Year nominees this morning.

 

The nominees for the Maga’haga award are Jessica Barrett from Barrett Enterprises, Eleanor Cabrera from Naked Fish Bar and Grill, Wendi Herring from Asia Pacific Hotels, Dr. Jitka Lom from ExpressCare, Polly Masga from Marianas Medical Center, Donna Muna Quinata from AutoSpot, and Sophia Chu Wigsten from the Hyatt Regency Guam. Going 11 years strong, First Hawaiian Bank and the Guam Business Magazine recognize businesswoman in Guam and Saipan who have made significant contributions to their industries and have demonstrated a strong commitment to their community.

FHB Senior Vice President Laura-Lynn Dacanay says, “This is our 11th year and to date, we have raised $207-thousand for scholarships.”

Guam Business Magazine Publisher Maureen Maratita says, “A total of 111 students have been recipients of these scholarships to attend UOG, GCC and the Northern Marianas College in Saipan.”
