2016 PACRIM Friendship Tourney Set to Go

“The group is excited to be here on Guam and can’t wait to meet the teams they will be playing,”

TAMUNING – GuamBasketball.com is excited to host the 2016 PacRim Friendship games with St. Anthony Claret School from Manila May 10 to 14 at Tamuning Gym. “A delegation of 85 representing the Claret school will be here for friendship games, a 3on3 tournament and cultural exchange,” stated program coordinator Elsa Ulloa.

 Joining the Manila delegation for the 3on3 tourney is the Phi Youth Elite 10U team headed by coach Mark Herrera. “This is a great experience for the boys playing overseas..the boys are excited to compete,” stated Herrera in a press release by the Philippine Star.

 Participating in the friendship games are local teams St. Paul Warriors, MTM Falcons and Tamuning Typhoons who are scheduled to compete in the 10U, 14U and 16-18U divisions throughout the week. Closing off the week will be a 3on3 intramural tournament followed by a Chamorro BBQ hosted by the Falcons club and Typhoons traveling team.

 Other activities planned is a reception by the Philippine Consulate and visit to Chamorro Village market night.
