3 suspects attempt to rob driver in Barrigada

Guam – Police are looking for three suspects who reportedly attacked a woman who was driving along Route 8 in Barrigada.

Guam Police Department Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao says it happened around 7:20 p.m. Thursday near the What’s Up store. A woman was driving her car along Route 8 when a woman approached her vehicle and began banging on her car.

Two other suspects, a man and woman, began circling her car before the man opened the driver’s side door and began attacking the driver. The man reportedly tried to yank the victim out of her car but the woman was able to drive away.

The three suspects were seen jumping into a white SUV and fleeing.

According to police, the three suspects may have also been involved in another disturbance also along Route 8 which was reported to police by a passerby.

All three suspects are described as being of Micronesian descent. The woman who was banging on the vehicle was described as wearing a floral print skirt while the second woman had her hair in a ponytail. The male suspect was shirtless.
