Grandmother of 3 Year Old Boy Found Wandering Alone Arrested on Child Abuse Charges

Guam – Guam Police this morning arrested the grandmother of a 3-year-old boy found wandering alone in Tamuning this morning.

The boy was found by a female jogger outside the Tamuning Winchell’s along Marine Drive this morning [Monday] about 5:30 am.

GPD PIO Officer A.J. Balajadia says the boy was in his diapers and barefoot. He was wearing a long blue sleeve shirt and holding a beige colored blanket. Balajadia described the boy as being about 3 years old, 2 feet tall, with black hair and light complexioned, “possibly FSM.”

The grandmother has been identified as 58 year old Tikiko Hallucky of Tamuning. She has been charged with Family Violence, child abuse and Failure to Provide, said Balajadia. She was booked and confined.

Across the street from the Hagatna Precinct, the boy’s 2 aunt’s told PNC News that the boy had walked away from their apartment in Tamuning early this morning. They said the boy’s mother was a 17 year old teenager who remained at their home in Tamuning. They declined to identify themselves.

The child is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
