A missing person report has been filed at the Dededo precinct for a 34-year-old male who has been missing for a couple of days.
It has been two days since Joshua Taimanglo was last seen by family members.
Taimanglo is a Yigo resident and is currently employed as a school aide at Agueda I. Johnston Middle School.
Jane Borja, the mother of Taimanglo, says she last saw him Saturday morning at around 6 a.m.
Borja says that Taimanglo messaged her the day he went missing, saying that he really loved his girlfriend and that he needs someone to talk to.
She says that she asked him in the morning of the day he went missing to buy sugar and when she saw his face… it looked as if he was crying.
Borja says although she saw him, she doesn’t recall what Taimanglo was wearing that morning.
Meanwhile, Reny Taimanglo, the sister of Joshua, says that her mom called his work to see if he was there.
Reny says that his work reported that Taimanglo didn’t show up.
She says that she last saw Taimanglo kicking back with his friend the night before he went missing.
Reny claims that the friend was supposed to take Taimanglo to his girlfriend’s place.
She says Taimanglo normally calls her when he has problems or when something is wrong.
Reny says this type of behavior is unusual for him.
“He is mainly into working or making money. This is not like him to just up and leave and only take his phone,” Reny said.
She added that her brother is always friendly and cracks jokes to make others smile.
PNC reached out to GPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Tapao but has yet to receive confirmation if a missing person report has been filed.
