Guam – 15,000 tax refund checks will be mailed out on Monday.
This round of disbursements amounts to $35 million dollars. Monday’s checks will cover tax payers who filed before April 3rd.
According the release from Adelup, a second batch will be processed shortly.
On August 31st, Governor Calvo told Newstalk K57 listeners that his administration would cut all tax refunds checks by the end of September — now a likely possibility in light of GovGuam’s Section 30 reimbursement of $77 million that it received yesterday.
