4.8 magnitude earthquake recorded


The U.S. Geological Survey recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.8 that struck 212 kilometers west-southwest of Merizo with a depth of 90.2 kilometers at 7:48 a.m. (ChST).

According to the Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), there were no reports made to Guam 911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake.
