4 Arrested for Illegal Fishing in the Tumon Bay Preserve MONDAY June 24


Guam – The Guam Department of Agriculture has announced that 4 men were arrested last week Monday and charged with fishing in a Marine Preserve.


The following men were charged:

* 55 year old Roland Clark Ngirachelsau of Yigo

* 65 year old Adalbert Derong Sullivanof Dededo

* 49 year old Danny Jesus Fejerang of Dededo

* 36 year old Danny Jesus Fejarang of Dededo.

A release from the Department of Agriculture says that about 3:50pm, Conservation Officers observed the 4 men using cast nets and hand tools on the Tumon Bay Reef Flat. They checked their catch and found the men in possession of  “non-targeted species of fish,” states the release. They confiscated various reef fish, octopus, trochus meat.

As a result they were booked and released for illegal fuishing in the Tumon Bay Marine Preserve.
