4 Teenage Girls Run Away fro DYA Cottage Home in Talofofo

Guam – The Department of Youth Affairs and Guam Police have their eyes out for 4 teenage girsl who ran away from the DYA Cottage Home in Talofofo.

According to a release from DYA, the girls fled the Cottage Home shortly after 9 last night [Tusday]. They were being held on Truancy and Beyond Control charges. None of themhad been charged with violent offenses.

DYA’s Cottage Homes are not locked facilities and they are not fenced-in because the youths placed there do not pose a harm to the community.  

According to the release, the runaways are described as:

1. 16 year old Chamorro female, with a dark complexion standing at 5ft. 4 inches and 150 lbs. with long black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing  brown plaid shorts and blue shirt.

2. 15 years old  Chuukese female with a dark complexion standing at 5ft. and 120lbs with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing blue shorts and a brown shirt.

3. 17 year old Chamorro female with a medium complexion standing at 5 ft.1inches and 132 lbs. with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing black shorts with a blue shirt.

4. 15 years old Chuukese female with a dark complexion standing at 5ft 3 inches and 150lbs with long black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing brown shorts with a beige shirt.
