Just before 1 p.m. Saturday, Guam Fire Department units were dispatched to the Hyatt hotel pool for a reported drowning.
A 4-year-old boy was pulled from the pool and CPR was initiated by Hyatt staff.
Medics then transported the boy to GMH with CPR being conducted en route.
GMH wouldn’t release the boy’s condition pending authorization from the boy’s family. GMH also wouldn’t comment on whether the boy was a local or a tourist but PNC sources said the boy is a tourist.
