45 Year Old Woman Robbed at Knife Point Saturday, Outside Her Home, Tomas T. Quichocho in Custody

Tumon Heights, Guam – Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a 45 year old woman at knife point outside her home in Tumon Heights Saturday.

32 year old Tomas Toves Quichocho of Sinajana has been booked and confined. He is being held for Robbery, Conspiracy, Guilt Established By Complicity, and Assault.

According to a release from Officer A.J. Balajadia, the woman was returning to her home early Saturday morning when, shortly before 3am Saturday, a man approached her from behind as she tried to un-lock her door. She told police the man “placed her in a choke hold” and “used a knife to cur the strap of her purse … cutting her left arm in the process.”

The woman was taken  to GMH for treatment of the injury and to be treated for “emotional trauma and distress,” states Officer Balajadia.

Witness saw the suspect fleeing and he was later found and arrested by police.

APPROX. 5′-8″ TO 5′-9″/ STOCKY BUILD/ SHAVED HEAD
GREY T-SHIRT WITH A WHITE INNER SHIRT/ BLACK PANTS.

The suspect approached her from behind as she tried to unlock and enter the front door of her residence and placed her in a choke hold. He then used the knife to cut the strap of her purse and cutting her left hand in the process. The suspect was then seen by witnesses running towards Tumon Hts. Rd., made a right turn towards Mamis St., made another left turn on Mamis St. towards Ypao Rd., making a left turn onto Yapo Rd. and last seen entering the parking lot of YPAO BREEZE INN.

The victim was also transported to GMH by and treated for her injury and emotional trauma/distress caused by the subject incident.

Patrol and the Criminal Justice Task Force located the suspect and arrested;
