The Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) has awarded $299,868 through its Qualifying Certificate Community Contribution (QCCC) Grant Program Series 2 to 49 non-profit organizations. The grant funding is provided by Guam Regional Medical City and TNN Guam dba Tsubaki Hotel.

This Series 2 cycle was opened on August 06, 2020, and closed on September 11, 2020. A total of 56 applications were received and 49 were deemed eligible. Evaluations were conducted by five evaluators and completed on October 20, 2020. The GEDA Board of Directors approved the disbursements during its regular board meeting held on October 22, 2020.

“Like small businesses, non-profit organizations have experienced interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although fundraising efforts have been postponed or canceled, the needs of our community have not. We appreciate the opportunity to be able to provide some assistance at this time,” stated Melanie Mendiola, CEO/Administrator.
