5.2 earthquake near Rota; no tsunami alert for Guam

At about 10:42 p.m. tonight, a 5.2 earthquake 27 km southeast of Rota shook the island of Guam, according to the United States Geological Survey.

There were no injuries or damages reported at this time. According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, there are no tsunami alerts for Guam.
