5.4 earthquake 73 miles southwest of Merizo

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.4 that struck 117 kilometers (72.7 miles) south-southwest of Merizo, with a depth of 8.7 km, at 9:03 a.m. (ChST).

There were no reports made to Guam 911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake.
