Governor Lou Leon Guerrero said there are at least 50 ventilators are on island available to assist in the fight against the coronavirus.
Concerns have been raised about the lack of ventilators nationwide.
Ventilator machines, which provide oxygen to those who cannot breathe on their own, and they can be a key factor in keeping critically ill patients alive.
The governor told K-57’s Patti Arroyo this morning that the supplies we need are available and we’re bringing them in by the thousands. “There are masks, gloves, respirators,” she said.
“I want to assure the public that we have anticipated the needs,” she said.
