The prisoners were evaluated at GMH after they exhibited signs of hallucination from possible drug use.

Guam – Guam Memorial Hospital Spokesperson June Perez says six prisoners from the Department of Corrections were evaluated at the emergency room last night for suspected drug use.

The six prisoners were between the ages of 19 to 25 and were reportedly exhibiting signs of hallucination and officers suspected the prisoners were possibly high on a synthetic drug called “spice.” As a result, the inmates were rushed to GMH.

Perez says after being evaluated, the prisoners were sent back to DOC.

DOC Spokesperson Lt. Jeff Limo says he is currently gathering information on the case, but he plans to release a statement to the media.
