7 new cases of COVID-19 out of 525 tested; CAR score dips to 0.8


Seven (7) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 525 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, May 9, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 7 to Sunday, May 9.

Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. Two (2) cases were identified through contact tracing.

To date, there have been a total of 8,043 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 90 cases in active isolation, and 7,814 not in active isolation.

The CAR Score is 0.8.
