7.2 Temblor Causes Nary a Stir On Guam


Guam – A 7.2 earthquake that occurred 230 miles west southwest of Guam left most everyone on island unmoved.

The temblor stuck about 20 minutes after 7am  Saturday morning. It was a shallow one, occurring 2.9 miles down.

No tsunami warning was issued. And Guam Homeland Security and the Office of  Civil Defense issued a release saying there have been no reports of damage or injury related to the event.
