Guam – The 74th Liberation Day Parade will be broadcast LIVE to viewers from around the world, allowing those with ties to Guam to share in strengthening the spirit of this island we call home.

This year’s Liberation Day parade will be streamed LIVE on television as well as on YouTube and Facebook platforms.

PBS-Guam will broadcast this signature event commercial free, keeping with the station’s commitment to bring educational television to the homes of Guamanians, near and far.

Acting General Manager of PBS-Guam Kate Baltazar says quote, “We should honor our history and remember those who suffered, sacrificed, and served during this time.

This annual celebration is the perfect opportunity to do so, together as an island community.” end quote. And this year’s “strengthening of spirit” theme seems to resonate with the 74th Guam Liberation Queen Kamarin Nelson.

\”It’s strengthening our culture, from our past, maintaining it throughout our present and just working on it for our future generations, keeping us unified and preparing us and keeping us connected as one. Thank you,” said Nelson.

THE ANNUAL JULY 21ST GUAM LIBERATION PARADE FALLS ON A SATURDAY THIS YEAR.
