9 Guam Guard Members Back Home From Middle East Deployment

Guam – A team of 9 Airmen from the Guam Air National Guard arrived back on Guam last night on a flight from Honolulu following their deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The Airmen are members of the 254th Force Support Squadron, but were attached as augmentees to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, Southwest.

This was a three-month rotation for the GUANG Airmen.  Another team was deployed in April to the same location and attached to the same unit.

The team’s mission was to provide a wide range of force support services functions to include food service, lodging, mortuary affairs, managing fitness and recreation programs and facilities, field exchange and other support programs.
