A decomposed body was found in the village of Yigo earlier today. In addition, the Guam Police Department reported receiving a call of a foul odor around Tun Luis Anaco Street in Yigo.
Dededo Precinct Officers responded to the call and reported that after a brief search of the area, they found a decomposed body behind a residence.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division have assumed responsibility for the investigation and are currently working with Crime Scene Investigators from the Forensic Science Division to process the scene.
The investigative team is awaiting findings from a scheduled autopsy.
